Wow this olympics has not been great so far for me.  But well worth it and i wish to thank the nbc networks right now for all their coverage online and on the tube.

But to wake up to this news has made my day. made my olympics.

Thank YOU ARA Abrahamian you are a Hero.

You could not have stood stronger for the horrible way you were treated. The press seems to think that you are supporting some dopers rights. When you are really protesting the way the judging in these Olympics  has been inept and at times corrupt. There is a connection between the judge and the semi winner that connection is ItalIan greed.  The fact that a wrestler ranked 27th in the world beat the world champ and the only investigation will be whether to suspend Ara or not.

Please come to the usa. please come to california. please come to Los Angeles. I don’t have a gold medal to give you.  You have won our support, and maybe lunch at Pinks.

Will the world come together for sport. Will the world come together to cheer the victors, and also rans.

I have not talked to many people that are excited about the start of the beijing olympics.  The olympics have always been an exciting time in my house. Two weeks that history is made. two weeks that may never return to the host city or take many many years to return again. i do not think Los Angeles will see the return of the Olympics in my lifetime.

I was only a pup of 15 but i remember it like it was yesterday. The way the whole city shut down except for the Olympics.  All most no traffic. the way the events brought everyone together no matter what country you were from. everyone was on their best behavior like if it was Christmas and peter ueberoth had brought us the best present ever.

Every event had drama every athlete like a actor on the stage of his dreams. i witnessed the end of the first ever women’s marathon in the Olympics. Of course joan benoit won the gold.  But my lasting impression is of that swiss lady Gabriela Andersen-Schiess  stumbling into and around the track heroically finishing the race in 37th.  as she made her way around the track each section would rise and cheer so mightily cheering her on the world stage. i look forward to moments like that. Moments that take time and patience and at once make history.

i for one do not care for the ways of the chinese government but it only makes it easier for me to root against them against the new olympic superpower.

Do any of these politicians feel good about blasting each other.  Accusations blind the truth.

When will they learn to enlighten us and empower us about themselves and their ideals. Bring more light to people and problems with the current situations. Show us the real deal!

Power to the people = knowledge !

There are times in my life where I say to my self why could that have not been me. I hope they’re happy together for eons and eons.

Of course a beautiful outside wedding almost destroyed by hurricane dean. The one day it was not perfect outside.

My daughter with her medium length blond hair and golden tan, especially in summer, is a handful just like her dad. Her brown eyes and small frame impeccable taste as she likes to be just like her dad.

I have just recovered from a short stay at one of our finer medical institutions. I was just getting home when my girl calls me to welcome me in her own special way.

She asks me.

“Dad what is 12 times 12.”

I said “24”.

She said,”No, times.”

I said, “144”.

“Good, you’re all better now,” she said.

I am so glad that such a small exam is an example of my sanity.

Welcome to my spin. welcome to the end.

I know that when life wipes the slate clean. we can be depressed about what we lost and try to regain the past, or we can take advantage of the life do-over and start fresh.

If god knows my name. What if i don’t know my own name.

If the end comes will i care.

Life is a beutiful thing. The only thing that is guaranteed is death.
